Dredging work at The Camber finishes this week

The routine maintenance dredging project at The Camber should be complete by the end of this week, with the last few loads of dredged material going out by Friday 24 March. Overall, around 6000m2 of material has been removed from The Camber, ensuring that all the vessels that use this important facility can continue to navigate safely.
The Camber pontoons should be back in place by Saturday 25 March. All vessels that were previously based in The Camber can begin to come back by the afternoon of the 25 March, and the fishing vessels can also return to normal operations.
Thank you to everyone involved who have worked together to ensure the project could be carried out successfully, and also the patience of berth holders, the local fishing fleet along with local residents.
