This privacy notice sets out how Portsmouth International Port uses and protects any information you give to us. It applies to:

Our CCTV system
Since 2004, Portsmouth International Port has operated a CCTV system. It became mandatory for the port to have such a system under the International Ship and Port Security Code 2004. Also contained within the port are other CCTV systems, including Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) and body-worn video cameras. These are owned and operated by third parties, including the Statutory Authorities and the Police.
All systems are operated in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 , Greater Data Protection Regulation 2018, Human Rights Act 1998, Protections of Freedoms Act 2012 and Surveillance Camera Code of Practice 2015. Visitors to our website
This website has been designed to offer customers straightforward information that is unambiguous and not misleading.
When someone visits www.portsmouth-port.co.uk we collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. We collect this information in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting this site unless you specifically provide this information. If we do collect personally identifiable information through our website, we will be upfront about this.

Portsmouth International Port uses GovDelivery, an email marketing platform to send communications and to manage the email addresses and preferences of subscribers. GovDelivery is a secure platform that adheres to the port’s information security and to data processing policies and the Data Protection Act.
All data gathered for use with GovDelivery will be only be used for the purpose of keeping you informed about topics you have told us you are interested in and in line with the port’s main Data Protection Privacy Notice. Subscribers can manage their subscription preferences through Gov Delivery – you will not be added to any mailing list or receive any mail unless you have chosen to do so. You can choose to unsubscribe from this service at any time.
