Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy

Our Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy is a 25-year roadmap to where the port wants to be across all aspects of sustainability and community value.

As a leader in sustainable and innovative maritime operations, and as a good neighbour to and employer of the people of Portsmouth, it’s incredibly important for the port to ensure it is focused and transparent in these endeavours.

From achieving zero emissions status by 2050, to providing equitable employment and ensuring robust governance, this strategy outlines the port’s core principles and aims for the coming decades.

The objectives set out in the strategy are fully measurable, ensuring the port can be held accountable to all of its aims, and there will be annual reports made available to all of our stakeholders.
