Chimet is a weather information system recording weather conditions from about one mile out to sea from the entrance to Chichester Harbour.
Surface pressure charts from the Met Office, showing pressure and weather fronts, are provided up to five days ahead for Europe and the North East Atlantic.
The Met Office also provide a local forecast for the Portsmouth area, showing predicted conditions for up to six days ahead.
Tide prediction charts for up to three days ahead are available from the UK Hydrographic Office’s Admirality EasyTide service.
